If you care

This recent post from Matthew Good's blog is something I found rather appalling after reading it. Why is it that everything posed from the left side of politics is automatically written off as propaganda and U.S bashing from conservative pundits? Read it:

The Sheehan Smear
A few days ago internet slime bucket Matt Drudge kicked off the smear Cindy Sheehan campaign, which was then turned up a notch by someone as equally abhorrent, Fox'’s Bill O'’Reilly, who personally attacked Sheehan on his show. The following day, Fox anchor John Gibson claimed that O'Reilly hadn't attacked Cindy Sheehan personally [video of O'Reilly attacking Sheehand and then Gibson denying it ].

Of course, O'Reilly'’s echo that day was none other than Michelle Malkin, who, like a cast of moronic conservative feminine “columnists (it would be a disservice to journalists everywhere to label them proper journalists, Anne Coulter or Canada's very own Rachel Marsden included) talks as baselessly as the man whom I can only surmise she idolizes for his ability to completely shit all over the sanctity of the fourth estate.

Media Matters tracks
the recent attempts to discredit Sheehan.

Whether you like Sheehan or not, or agree with what she's doing, I fail to see how the points she makes in this video can be so easily dismissed. Unless, that is, you'’re comfortable being lied to and defending those responsible. If that's the case, what more need be said?
